Oh, and the team will have to be good. People barely noticed how good Dahlin's rookie season was because the team was a tire fire.

Dahlin was tied for 21st in scoring for defensmen, at 18.

Petersson was 57th in scoring among forwards., at 20.

The difference was the Sabres were a total joke in the second half. Read articles published last october, and Dahlin was getting serious calder mentions. The team was such a disaster after that, you hear goofy things now like he wasn't even as good as Heiskanen, who had way less points.

It would seem that he could have replaced Skinner pretty well. Keeping Skinns, I think will come back to bite us towards the end of his career, but it rocks right now.

Barrett Jackman won with 3 goals...

Eklbad won with 12, Myers with 11, Berard with 8.

9 goals can most definitely win you a Calder.
